Product Launch Success From Collaboration

LaunchPad recently produced a laser engraved growler with their LaunchPad NYIT location, which has taken off with great success, with the sale of over 1,000 bottles. The resources available on NYIT’s campus allow for small businesses to see their ideas come to life, as seen with the initials engraved into these growlers.

“I went to the NYIT staff with my idea for the bottles, which have been brought to life through teamwork and collaboration, while proving the power of these co-working communities to produce and innovate new products together,” said Andrew Hazen, CEO and Founder of LaunchPad.

Jane Polizzi, Director of Administration and Operations at NYIT, also spoke about the partnership saying, “The collaboration is the perfect example of a business and the university coming together for synergy to produce a product”.

“Small businesses are looking for new avenues for new ideas, which we are open to as well, and by tapping into our resources and experienced personnel, both the business and the university can benefit,” said David Fanning, Laboratory Engineer at NYIT.
